Here's what it looks like at this point:

At this point, it was time to put some hardware in, but as soon as I fitted the Power Supply in there, I knew something had to be done since it is partially visible. So I did this:

There are also two bright yellow LEDs hotglued on the inside, one pointing at the glass, and the other illuminating the PSU guts.

I wanted to paint the whole thing, but figured the top and sides were enough, and besides, I was running out of paint.

Finally, I installed the Motherboard, this thing is huge and L-shaped and barely fit inside, it matched up to most of the holes in the motherboard, but where it didn't I used some nylon standoffs I cut to size. These don't help secure the board to the case, but they help keep it from flexing too much (and possibly breaking) like when you are installing pci cards or pushing in IDE connectors.

Then I put the rest of the hardware in, and spent a little time rewiring the leads from the control panel (power, reset, turbo) buttons to mactch the motherboard. The turbo button is still disconnected right now, but will be wired up to the yellow cold cathode tube I bought from pcmods.com.

Then I either tucked away or put split loom on any wires that were showing. Here's a pic with the hardware installed, and one with the cover on:

At this point there is little else to do, so I cut out appropriately-sized sheets of lucite (plexiglass) and glued them to the inside with Amazing GOOP. (I never did like the look of molding)

And here's a couple of extra shots of it finished:

Wow, I can't believe you read the whole thing! Here's your cookie!:
