I took out the power supply and tested its fan noise against a couple same-sized fans I had laying around. I picked out a Canon fan that was about half as loud and seemed to suck about the same amount of air.
I made a note of the heat sinks inside, two slabs coming up parallel with slightly finned tips. I only make note of this because I am setting up a watercooling system for this case, and will probably need to make a custom waterblock for the power supply. I also removed the Canon sticker and replaced it with one of my "GNU protected" stickers.
*update*- I did try watercooling the PSU, check it out HERE.
This system always has, and always will, run Linux.
My favorites are SuSE and Gentoo. To reflect the contents of its hard drives in an attractive manner, I proceeded to carve a penguin outline into the side, which is illuminated with a blue cold cathode tube.
