Here's a look at the back PCB, I wish I had taken pictures of this when I got it, but you'll just have to use your imagination to envision what this looked like before I took a soldering iron to it.

Lemme give you a few specs on this thing.
200mhz WinChip
32mb laptop ram
16mb sandisk Disk-On-Chip
2 serial headers (both internal)
1 non-winmodem modem (cause it runs QNX, dummy!)
1 parallel port
1 USB port (plus one header inside that only needs a few resistors to put in service)
1 ps/2 port
1 keyboard with two buttons and a directional nub to eliminate the need for a mouse.
the unit's dimensions are approximately 9 inches x 11.5 inches, and about 2inches deep without the stand or an extending heatsink.

This thing originally had a modified version of the QNX operating system on it that only tried to dial up and register itself to NetPliance servers (call a 1-800 number). At the time I got this, it was already revision 2 and if it had sucessfully dialed NetPliance servers, it would have run an auto-update that would flash its bios to prevent me from even entering the bios at bootup.

So it stayed standalone for awhile while I played with it.
